Hi Tracy, thanks for the info. I did know about Perry Jarrell's Farm but the other one is news to me. I hate to think it is all going to be gone to. In some cases it is already too late. It's just sad.

Like you I love riding back in there. You can literally ride for miles and days if one were so inclined. I'm actually in the process of planning a couple of weeks back in the mountains in that area. So much to photograph and enjoy and unfortunately so little time left to do so.

Hello Denny. I always enjoy looking at your pictures. I grew up on Drews Creek and go riding on the trails up there all the time. There is definitely a lot of great riding. You may already know this, but that picture you have from the top of the mountain in the head of Spring Hollow used to be an old farm back in the early 1900's. A man named Perry Jarrell farmed it and raised his family up there. The locals still call it Perry Jarrell Farm. Also, the spot where you took the pictures of the MTR was also an old farm (George Webb Farm). There are (or was) 2 springs up there where I used to get water all the time. I hate to think that a lot of these places could be gone before long. Thanks for the great pictures!
